• Railway station: Rimpar and Maidbronn don't have their own station. The nearest is Würzburg Hbf, with a bus onward from there
• Maidbronner Wald forest: right on the edge of the village
• Pleichach stream: a 2-minute walk

How many people fit in the apartment?

1 to 6 people: 4 adults in two bedrooms plus 2 on the sofa bed in the living room. We're happy to add a travel cot on request.

What does a night cost?

€89 to €119 per night. From 14 nights there are special rates, and from four weeks we reduce the price significantly again.

Is the apartment fully furnished?

Yes, fully furnished: two bedrooms with beds, a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, a bathroom with towels, bed linen, and a washer-dryer. You only need to bring your personal belongings.

Is self-check-in possible around the clock?

Yes, via our key safe. You can arrive at any time of day or night, even after a late hospital visit. We'll send you the code by message in good time before you arrive.

Are dogs and cats allowed, and what does it cost?

Yes, both are welcome. Surcharge: €20 per night per pet. For cats, we're happy to fit a cat-safe net on the balcony on request, just let us know when you enquire.

Is smoking allowed?

There's no smoking inside the apartment. You're welcome to smoke on the balcony, and an ashtray is provided.

What does charging an EV at the wallbox cost?

Nothing, charging is included in the price. There's an 11 kW wallbox at your own parking space right outside the door, so your car is fully charged overnight.

What's the cancellation policy?

With a direct booking, you can cancel free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival. If something comes up at short notice, just write to us and we'll find a fair solution. For bookings via Booking.com or Airbnb, that platform's own terms apply.

Is there Wi-Fi for working from home?

Yes, Wi-Fi is free and fast enough for video calls and working from home.

Are longer stays possible, over weeks or months?

Yes, many guests stay with us for several weeks or months: interns, people accompanying a hospital patient, or patients in long-term treatment. From 14 nights there are special rates, just mention it when you enquire.

Can I extend my stay if things take longer than planned?

Yes, if the apartment is free afterwards, we'll extend your stay without any fuss. Renovations and treatments often take longer than planned, we know that.

How quickly is the apartment available?

Usually within 24 to 48 hours of your enquiry, provided it's free for the period you want. In urgent emergencies such as water damage or fire, we try to make a short-notice arrival possible.

Can I get an invoice for insurance, my health fund or my employer?

Of course. We issue a proper invoice that you can submit to your health insurer, your insurance company or your employer.

Will insurance cover the cost if I need a replacement home after damage?

Most home contents insurance policies cover the extra cost of alternative accommodation for an insured claim. We'll issue you a proper invoice that you can submit. Please clarify the exact cover with your insurer beforehand.

How far is it to the University Hospital Würzburg?

About 10 to 15 minutes by car via Estenfeld and Schweinfurter Straße. By public transport: bus 450 to Würzburg Hbf, then tram 1 or 5 towards Grombühl to the Pestalozzistraße stop.

Are you a hotel, guesthouse or holiday apartment?

We're a private holiday apartment, registered as a business but not a hotel or guesthouse. You have the whole apartment to yourselves, with a kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms.

Do you also rent to tradespeople or contractors on assignment?

Not really. Our apartment is meant as a temporary home for holidaymakers, hospital stays, replacement accommodation during renovations and family visits, not as typical contractor lodgings. In exceptional cases we're happy to see whether it could still work, just drop us a short note about your situation.
